Ahsan Jamal is a Sr. Risk Consultant and Head of Learning & Development at CERM Pakistan. Ahsan specializes in dealing with large and complex engineering risks in a broad range of industries, including power, energy, chemicals & fertilizers, steel, textile and paper manufacturing.

His current job responsibilities include:

- Property Risk Assessment & Control of Risk Exposures
- Carry out Risk Surveys of various industrial facilities across sectors such as Fertilizers, Refineries, Power Plants, Steel, Textile, Paper Mills, Sugar Mills, Retail and Manufacturing.
- Provide Risk Evaluation Reports with Recommendations for Risk Improvement of facilities surveyed
- Conduct Fire Risk Assessment as per NFPA standards, FM Global guidelines and Building Code of Pakistan Fire Safety Provision – 2016.

He is a professional Civil Engineer and Marsh PRC Global Certified Risk Engineer, with over 16 years of experience in Risk Engineering & Consulting, Engineering Underwriting & Reinsurance, and Construction Project Management.

Ahsan also holds the position of Head of Learning & Development at Center for Enterprise Risk management – Pakistan and has conducted insurance, fire safety & risk management training workshops, seminars and professional development programs for clients.
Ahsan has received various trainings in Risk engineering, Health & Safety, Insurance and Risk Management from Germany, Luxembourg, UK, UAE and Pakistan.
